End of Life Care

Coping with the impending loss of a pet is one of the most difficult experiences a pet parent will face. Whether your furry friend is approaching his golden years or has been diagnosed with a terminal illness, it’s important to calmly guide the end-of-life experience and minimize any discomfort or distress.

Euthanasia is performed in the comfort of your pets home. It is important to Dr. Arielle that your pet is  able to relax and rest in their own bed surrounded by their loved ones.

Feature 2

Euthanasia provides a painless, peaceful end for a pet who would otherwise continue to suffer.

Feature 3

Your  appointment is approximately 30-45 minutes, but Dr. Arielle will adjust the pace to your pet’s needs and yours.  It is important to Dr. Arielle that your pet is  able to relax and rest in their own bed surrounded by their loved ones.

During the procedure, 2 injections will be given. First, a sedative to provide pain relief and relaxation, often times inducing a deep sleep within 10-15 minutes.  The second injection will allow for a peaceful passing within 1-2 minutes. During this time your pet experiences no awareness of the end.
