Choosing how to handle your pet's remains after their passing is an incredibly personal decision, one that is uniquely yours to make.

Private Cremation:

Opting for this choice involves the individual cremation of your pet at a crematory licensed by our team. We are currently partnered with Faithful Companion, a family-owned crematory. I carefully select our crematory based on a range of exceptional qualities, with the most critical one being that I as a veterinarian would entrust them with my own pets. I will arrange to transport your pet afterward for cremation. Your pet’s ashes will be returned and delivered by a caregiver the following day.

Communal Cremation:

In this option, your pet will be cremated alongside other cherished pets. Their ashes are buried on a regular basis at Shady Rest Pet Cemetery in McMinnville, TN. There are markers denoting the Faithful Companion communal cremain burial area. However, pets are not individually identified.

Home Burial:

If you choose to lay your pet to rest at home, it's essential to ensure that you adhere to the local regulations in your area. We do not provide assistance with burial preparations.

Non-traditional Options:

Pets are family. Celebrate your beloved pet with a personalized, traditional funeral service, memorial, or celebration of life that honors the life and love you shared. Opting for a conventional pet memorial service can provide a highly elegant and detailed alternative, complete with a personalized eulogy, photo display, dove release, and tree planting. a formal ceremony, casket, headstone, and burial plot. We are partnered with Paws to Remember to provide memorial services for our best friends. Click here for more information.
